Born on January 27, 2001, Aiah is the eldest member of Bini. She is one of the main rappers and visual of Bini.
Background
Aiah’s real name is Maraiah Queen Arceta. Born and raised in Lapu-lapu, Cebu. She lives with her father, mother and brother.
Career
She previously joined pageants and was crowned Miss Silka 2018. She has been doing modelling and joining beauty pageants outside of school. She also appeared in various commercials before auditioning for Pinoy Big Brother in 2018.
Star Hunt Academy
Aiah joined Star Hunt Academy as a trainee in October 2019, where she was the last girl to be selected. At Star Hunt Academy, she improved her singing and dancing with the help of Filipino voice coaches Kitchy Molina and Anna Graham, as well as dance coaches Mickey Perz and Matthew Almodovar. She also went through intensive Korean training, where she learned the Korean approach and discipline in singing and dancing.
She continued her training even during the COVID-19 pandemic, staying in Camp Star Hunt with her fellow trainees to stay safe from the virus.
On October 10, 2020, Aiah was among the final 8 members of the Star Hunt Academy Girl Trainees to graduate and was officially announced as part of an idol group.
As an official BINI member
In November 2020, Aiah officially joined ABS-CBN Entertainment’s girl group BINI and pre-debuted with their single “Da Coconut Nut.”
On December 4, 2020, Aiah and her fellow BINI members signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN Entertainment and Star Magic Philippines, ABS-CBN’s talent agency.
During their pre-debut era, Aiah and the other BINI members performed “Da Coconut Nut” and other song and dance covers on various ABS-CBN Entertainment shows like It’s Showtime, ASAP Natin ‘To, and Magandang Buhay.
The group officially debuted on June 11, 2021, with the release of their debut single “Born To Win” in a two-part event called BINI: The Launch.
